Mrs. Connie Jenks, LPC, M.S.Ed

Connie Jenks is a licensed professional counselor with 19 years of therapy experience and a total of 30 years in the field of mental health.  She has a passion for helping people find understanding, peace, and hope to move forward and thrive.  Therapy is an amazing process, effective and life changing.  It is also a brave journey.   Connie will provide a trusting and compassionate atmosphere and an approach that is respectful and patient to walk with you toward healing and change.

Connie’s professional journey has a wide variety of experiences from working in school systems, community mental health, hospitals, crisis intervention and private practices.  Her experience has been invaluable in working with many different topics and issues.  This has prepared her as a seasoned therapist.

Connie has worked with all age groups but specializes in adults with difficulties with mood, trauma, anxiety, and substance issues.  There are various ways to help people and each person is given the best treatment possible, tailored to their needs. 

Connie is a graduate of Old Dominion University and Mid-Atlantic Christian University.  Her world perspective is to value all and honor each season of life as a bridge to new learning and growth.
